The Creators...
Kelvin "Krayon" Thames from Fort Greene (Brooklyn New York), is an accomplished artist with a background in performing arts, spoken word, writing and stage production. His artistic flow has naturally led him into modeling for numerous fashion & art shows over the years.
As a hair stylist, he specializes in creating & maintaining beautiful natural locs. He's been nicknamed the "Loc Doctor" because of his detailed attention to his clients' locs & his uncanny ability to repair/ reattach cut off or damaged locs. Kelvin is also completing a course in massage therapy & will soon be offering these services.
Nahbila Sonia Tutuwan Thames from Cameroon W. Africa, is a global texture artist & educator with a passion for working with highly textured hair. She also does weaves, hair replacement & is a full time cosmetology & esthetics instructor for the Aveda Institute in Birmingham. Other interests include skincare, modeling, creating photo collages, stage production and writing. She also offers hands on braiding classes.
Together Sonia & Kelvin stay grounded as they raise a family & manage their business
